Time flies when you’re having fun. Here’s to another 27 years, fellas!It is hard for me to put into words what this picture truly means to me. My dad started this business 19 years ago. I was 11 years old at the time (but still taller than Rumble), and I didn’t think that anything could possibly be more fun. Spending the weekends with Dad and all of his buddies, traveling around to trade shows, listening to all of the older guys tell jokes and stories, and just dreaming of the day that I would be doing the same with all my friends. I will never forget the days spent at trade shows, learning how to pack a tin of shredded beef jerky while some of you enjoyed your skoal, or borrowing your Nextel phones so I could talk to the other guys (and of course a Nextel was my first cell phone), listening to you guys talk about your pickup trucks and how you put a lift, new tires, or new straight pipe exhaust and then, I would make you rev it up. I remember learning many life lessons from these guys— probably some at an earlier age than most. I don't think some of you realize how influential you have been to me growing up, but I look at all of you as my brothers. I can't thank you all enough for being by my side on the best day of my life, the day I got to marry Kristin Alfieri. This family that we have grown into wouldn't be possible without the vision and hard work of my dad, Bob Alfieri, and all of the support that my mom, Judy Alfieri, and Jacquelyn Ingweiller, gave us along the way. Many people in the industry think that the word “Pro-staff” is just a way to get a discount on a hunting item, But, at GK Calls, pro-staff means family. Thanks for being the best guys. I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
