GK Calls Giant Hunter
GK Calls Giant Hunter Goose Call — Flute Sound, Short Reed Speed
The GK Calls Giant Hunter looks like a flute and sounds like a flute — but that's where the similarity stops. This 9¼-inch acrylic goose call uses the same calling principle and technique as a short reed, giving you the best of both worlds: the exceptional, mellow tonal range of a flute combined with the speed and versatility of a short reed. If you've always wanted to run a flute but struggled with the transition, the Giant Hunter will pleasantly surprise you with just how easy it is to blow.
The Best of Both Worlds
Flutes are loved for their rich, mellow tone — but notoriously tricky to master. Short reeds are fast and versatile, but lack that smooth flute warmth. The Giant Hunter (GH) bridges the gap. Built on short-reed calling technique, it delivers that classic deep, mellow flute sound while giving you the responsiveness, speed, and control short-reed callers depend on. One call, two worlds, no compromise.
Easy Transition for Flute Callers
The biggest hurdle with traditional flutes is the transition — many hunters give up before they ever get comfortable. The Giant Hunter removes that frustration. Because it runs on the same principle as a short reed, callers find it dramatically easier to pick up and run cleanly, making it the perfect entry point for anyone who's always wanted to add a flute sound to their lanyard without the steep learning curve.
Premium Acrylic Build
At a full 9¼ inches of acrylic, the Giant Hunter is built for rich resonance, durability, and dependable performance hunt after hunt. Acrylic delivers the crisp, true tone serious callers want, standing up to the field season after season.

- 9¼-inch acrylic goose call with rich, mellow flute tone

Warranty
GK Calls Limited Lifetime Warranty
GK Calls stands behind the craftsmanship of every call we build. Each call carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects and issues caused by faulty workmanship or materials. If your call has a defect we caused, we'll repair or replace it.
What's Covered
- Manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship
- Issues caused by a fault in the product itself
What's Not Covered
- Wood splitting or cracking. Wood is a natural material, and splitting can occur for several reasons outside our control — including climate, temperature swings, and humidity. This is a natural occurrence and is not covered under warranty.
- Lost calls or lost parts. We cannot warranty or replace any call, barrel, insert, or component that has been lost. To help prevent this, we strongly recommend double-looping your lanyard on any call that does not use an O-ring system to keep all pieces secure.
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by improper care or modification.
How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your call has a manufacturer defect, please contact us with your order information and a description of the issue. We'll review your claim and, if it qualifies, repair or replace your call. Photos of the issue help us process your claim faster.
